As a few of you know, some people have occasionally met up at the Crite on the Sunday of a bank holiday wekend for a bit of boardgaming. Looking at the calender the 2nd Jan falls on a Sunday. This means that the 3rd will be a bank holiday. So, who's interested in a bit of gaming during the post-New Year quiet spot?

This is just to guage interest at the minute so don't think of it as a major commitment.

Some things to bear in mind.... if there's enough interest we can see about playing a bunch of short session games instead of one game that takes all day. Which would mean that there isn't a cap on numbers. Plus if there's enough of us we could look into booking out a room at the Crite, instead of just camping on one of the large tables.

I know, I know - it'd mean being worryingly organised but, I reckon with a three month run up we could just about pull it off. Wink

So, anyone up for it?

Cheers,
Tim

Sounds good to me. Work shifts allowing, I'd be up for it.

I could do but, since I own zero board games that may be problematic... Wink

Kev mentioned "Touch of Evil" [*] and "Last Night on Earth". "Arkham Horror" is a perennial fave but, whatever people feel like playing and can bring along!

Cheers,
Tim

Thought I'd repeat the joke before anyone else got a chance to make it

At the moment it's looking unlikely that I'll make it, looks like I'm working from 8:30 to 19:30 Sad

1:30 it is!

I'll bring along Death Angels, a card-game variant of Space Hulk.
Probably stick Fluxx in my pocket, too, just in case! Smile
