All,

Can anyone recommend methods for unbending features? I've got a load of the Star Wars Starship Battles miniatures, but several of them have got bent fins, guns etc Crying or Very sad e.g. if models were taken literally my ARC-170 would be in more danger from its' own guns than anything elses Wink

I've seen a suggestion that if you soak the model in hot water you can soften the plastic, unbend it then dip it in cold water to set it again, but I'm wary of snapping something.

I used to be With It. Then they changed what It was.
Now what I'm with isn't It, and what's It just seems weird and scary to me.
And it'll happen to you...

The general case with plastics and soft metals is to warm them up, fairly gently, and bend them back into shape.

Of course if you're stupid and lazy, a curse of mine, you do it cold and either snap the piece or have a groovy curve in it.
