Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Protivin Castle...

...but there's 250km's and four days in a truck with a madman possessed by Astral Wampyr between you and this final destination.

Currently, you're still plotting on how to pull off another miracle (right off the back of the abduction and flukey release from the grip of Herr Kreig) at the Contact House.

You have your Truck. You have directions. You have your supplies. You have a delusional Deputy Fuhrer. You have two (or more) 'supernatural' entities in tow. You have your wits, your guile, your dedication and no more Hazard Scene.

What could possibly go wrong.

OK:

1. Convince Hess that he is going for a birthday party incognito (playing a daft game)

Or perhaps more aptly, escaping from the nancy boys. I am sure he would play along with this.

2. I think he needs to be kept quiet- perhaps semi-sedated. For it appears that sedation keeps the pets at bay- for they did not appear malevolent until he came round from the heavy sedation after the abduction and had had the amulet trick. I recommend the minimum use of sedation, but I fear it may be wise to get us all through the several day trip., for it seems to quieten him and his pets down.

3. We need a guardian angel. I suggest that we contact the Baron to pull strings. I am sure that he could get to a position where he could meet us part of the way and escort us to CZ. The excuse could be that he needs us for something or other. it gets him into the game and uses his contacts (which I think we need)! Iain, would this be OK? I understand it may take him 36 hours or so to get into position.

Sounds fine to me. Just come up with how you're contacting him, what you want him to do and we'll see. Wink

The Baron is a good idea ( and resource) I agree we should make use of him Very Happy

I think the surprise inspection is a good idea as it means we can dress him as a private with good reason and its something high up brass would probably do,

...erm, I don't think so! Nazi brass wearing, perish the thought, "lower rank" uniforms?! It would be an insult, sir. An insult.

Right chaps, what about:

1. Determine Hess's attitude to Nancy. If bad, suggest we need to get him out under cover, which means dressing up as privates.

This is relatively easy, for he should go along with the plan.

If he is not into this suggestion then:

1. Determine if Hess knows what day it is, if not suggest nearing his/Hitler's birthday. If he does, see if we can blag him to another date.

2. Suggest that he/Hitler/ another core Party Member is having a party and he needs to dress up for a "surprise".

Either way I suggest lightly sedating him at times to reduce the strain on us all!

To facilitate safe passage I will contact the Baron from a telephone. I will ask him to meet us at rendevous point (the whereabouts is dependant upon his ablity to comply). As a Party Member he can state that he is going to a) help out at diplomatic talks b) going on holiday c) helping train the "dad's army". Whichever is the most plausible. This means that we get a Party member cloak when he meets us.

This may mean either we delay departing for 12 hours to give the Baron a chance to get himself together. or, we have to meet him some 36 hours into the journey. Depends where the most danger is. You never know, he may be able to get to us within 24 hours! Wink

Another idea - we can potentially do some facial disguising on young Herr Hess. Can Dreher do disguise?

If not we can called Leiben to bring over his make up kit ere we hit the border.

Gentlemen,

Before we begin the Dreamquest chapter I propose we play a break-game for a few weeks. Anyone willing to run something, go for your life.

So, once we've finished of this Abduction Chapter (one way or another) we'll do sommat different for a wee while.

Thoughts?

Tony, do you know what happened last night? Has anyone told you? We (ie you included) entered the chamber with Hess and the two vamps. We all did our duty, but all bar me have collapsed onto the stone floor, and I am not a combat character... I can see but one chance to get out of this scene alive Crying or Very sad (which isn't a hazard scene is it, so this may just work)? Shocked

This calls for a lot of blagging the creatures which have the minds of children to let us go! Each has something the other wants. They have Hess and we have their freedom in our hands. If they kill us then it's simple, Drittesauge will send in the doggies. Twisted Evil

Into the maelstrom...

OK, I intend going in to get Fleischer if necessary, as leaving one man inside is not acceptable. I aimed to get you all out, and get you all out (alive) I shall do.

I was thinking about:

1. Getting Fleischer by the door and rigging up a sedative gas canister, or a sedative dart to sedate him. Once he starts to go under the vamp should leave him fearing death of the physical;

2. Getting Fleischer over to the door, opening it, aiming a nice big bolt at his head. Waiting for the vamp to crap itself and leave; drag out Fleischer and job done! Twisted Evil

3. If Fleischer is not able to move then I need to go in Shocked but we need a plan!

Other (and better) suggestions as to how this is going to be done on a postcard please. Idea
