As you may have gathered dying is not the end of the matter in this game, Firewall can and will resleeve you out of their pocket if you die on operations ( What body you get might be a bit limited but still...).

That said combat is really quite deadly for one side or the other. I would advise not getting into uneccessary combats and to have a plan for how to deal with the opposition. Failure to do so will result in casualties. There are several weapons in game which can outright kill a character in one shot and several more that can do so if they get a burst off at you.

Medical skill between fights can help to stop damage from building to lethal levels.

Something I missed on my skim through the combat rules. An attack MoS of 30+ does an additional +5DV, 60+ an additional +10. Useful to know for a character with high combat skills.

Although I missed the entire MoS thing for skill tests on first reading anyway.

Looks like the burst fire and full auto rules I was quoting come from the 2nd ed Eclipse Phase. Rules are slightly different in the 3rd ed.

Which version should we be using?

Full auto: Against a snigle target, +30 to hit or +3D10 DV.
