Just recieved my pack this morning and it has some interesting stuff on Abbast. As a devotee I must

1) Participate in all Abbastian Feasts (yeah like thats a problem...)
2) Give thanks to Abbast for all meals (again no problem...)
3) Avoid destroying anything wherever possible. (ah... could be problematic)

As far as I can see it Abbastians are not exactly warlike and are all about growth in all its forms. As a result I am confused about the level of violence that I can aspire to. Death is the natural conclusion of life but they try to aviod it unless it serves some other form of growth.

Does anyone have any idea about this? Am I banned from violent actions? Can I start a fight or only finish one? As a soldiery type this may be problematic...

No idea mate, to my knowledge your one of the first Abbast followers!
I think you'll find that as the major faith of a waring nation it would be very difficult to be ANTI violence? It's more likely to be anti unnecessary violence?

If your unsure I'd check with the organisers.

Ultimately, one can explain away anything. I suppose it comes down to your original character concept. How does he see it?

You could be the fire that kills off the diseased so that new, stronger life can thrive.

You'd not be the first person in the group that has a problem with violence. We're not in for the mindless wacking thing anyway, but our duties for this upcoming game are pretty dastardly. We are going to be setting ourselves up as real nasty guys in the eyes of some and brave facilitators of the Imperium in others. We become a Love / Hate thing. Bit like Marmite really.
