From the IC background I was sent it appears that I am more of a former soldier of the house who is still bound by an Oath of allegiance to the house. For all intents and purposes probably like a sworn bannerman? So I would prefer to avoid the rank of 'sergeant'. Quite happy to follow any ranking order in the military command chain though.

I looked at it from the point of view of having been 'frozen' at the rank you had gained when you started working for the church?

So, I'm a Master Sergeant? That implies that I've actually worked for a living and not spent most of my time lancing boils and making nasty smells. Wink

Having never commanded anything more complex than meat stew I don't think I should be in command of anyone really. For their sakes.
