Hi Folks,

Just wondering where ppl choose to buy table top rpgs from nowadays?

Forbidden Planet doesn't exactly have a great choice or knowledgeable staff, Travelling Man in Nottingham has apparently gone, so I tend to order online off Leisure Games.

I'd be interested in hearing from other ppl.

Cheers

The Gameskeeper on Cowley Road, Oxford.

Probably not much help to you though Very Happy but they're a really good games shop.

I also tend to buy quite a few from Conventions.

Cheers for the answer Steve. If I ever happen to be in Oxford, I'll check it out Smile

Oh, because of where I work, when I want to check out Games Workshop stuff I pop to Warhammer World.

Last one I bought was direct from the publisher. Not bought a game from a shop in ages.

Last few games I've bought have been off e-bay, Forbidden Planet and Amazon.

I used to buy stuff from Travelling Man - but I went in about 4 times in a row over the space of 2 years and they had nothing I wanted - which given the amount of books they had was pretty poor. I did go along to the closing down sale in the hope that there might be something, but their idea of a closing down sale was apparantly 10% off selected items in the shop...

Other than that, I've bought from Spirit Games and Orcs Nest in the past.

All that said, I don't think I've actually bought anything in the last year and a half except the Shadowrun 4th edition (from Forbidden Planet) and the Galactica RPG (which came from Amazon)
