Okay Tony, provied us with a list of kit that is packed into and strapped onto the side of the Hanomag ready for the off next week so we can get straight in to the fight for Check Point Ryllia.
Smile

A Hanomag...

...in case you were wondering.

Not including personal baggage:

I wrote down some general type ideas

Medical supplies (Field surgical kit?) : More Shiky's Area of Expertise
Explosives : Enough to bring down the Amber Room and then some. With the literature and Peters mastery in the art of the blowing the crap out of stuff, we should be able to get a pretty accurate idea...but I want spares in case of emergencies
Panzerfausts : 3 crates (plus reload on each one). Expecting a lot of tanks and Peters will have done his Russian tank research and figured it'll take more than one per tank. 20 shots is a lot until you reach the Russian Front and it suddenly becomes woefully inadequate.
Archealogical/Trenching stuff(+few books/maps on palace/room) : Shiky's AoE
Spare weapons and bits : More Reisse's AoE
Portable radio and bits : More Reisse's AoE
Sniper Rifle and bits

plus the expected plenty of food, ammo, humbugs, wierd stuff, heavy clothing, etc.

Cannot remember writing down anything else but can have a chat as people turn up. No idea of vehicle carrying capacity. Amazing lack of information on the web.

We may actually end up having to leave stuff at Ryllia if the Hanomag and Trailer on order turns out to be a Penny Farthing and a Granny Bag but I am working to the plan at the moment. Smile

We will see how much of this has survived the roll of the Hanomag and the direct hit from the T34; probably not much but something is bound to be salvageable.

I've just got back from Malta- I would suggest some camera gear or rolls of paper and crayons to take rubbings of any carvings etc.

Yes a decent field medical/surgical kit is definately required (one is a strong re-inforced bag to withstand being chucked around) and by implication T34 direct hits!

Quoth Tony:
"Archealogical/Trenching stuff(+few books/maps on palace/room) : Shiky's AoE "

Yes I would like familiarise myself with whatever data we have on this and to take what is either going to be vital in the field or is not irreplaceable if lost. Obviously one would not want to take irreplaceable works with us unless there is a very good reason.

Shik.

Hehehe!

As a side note about Chances:

I Did Remember It After All
If a character needs an item that they have not marked on their character sheet they can take a Chance that they remembered it after all. 1 Chance remembers a common item; 2 Chances remember a specialist item; 3 Chances remember an unlikely item.

So, 4 Chances mean we can start with a Star Destroyer? Smile

Oh wait a minute, that damn Jedi will just crash it into the Hanomag. Damn.

You ran out of chances a loooong time ago, Mike. A long time ago.

It'll be far too short and far too easy with a SD anyway. Where's the fun in that? Wink
