The Washington Police Department have been alerted to the disappearance of Freelance Reporter J.P. Macy, who writes the weekly Washington Weird column for the Washington Bugle. At this time very little is known, but concerns were raised when Miss Macy failed to submit her column in time for last Wednesdays issue.

Police were informed after friends of Miss Macy failed in their attempts to contact her. Officers entered her apartment but found no clue as to Miss Macy�s whereabouts, however her pet cat had not been fed in some time � possibly up to 14 days.

If anyone has information concerning the current whereabouts of Jaqueline Piper 'JP' Macy, please contact Lt Carl Vance of the Washington Police Missing Persons Division.[/url]

As people may or may not be aware this year is my 40th.
so on april 17th saturday I will be having my usual slow wander through town having a drink .

However in the evening (about 8pm) I was considering doing something alittle different and booking a meal at the nashti and having a chicken or lamb nasti special .

If people are interested in this please post or text/tell asap so i can book no.s .

As this is an occasion I'll get the main special so sides & drinks are all you would need to cover .

So no excuses , you'd all be welcome .

There are several ways to get tickets for you to attend Con-Quest Midlands 2010.

1. Press this Paypal link below and buy a ticket on-line. Remember to fill in you name and contact details.
You will collect your ticket from the convention desk on the door on the day so avoiding any long queues at the box office.

2. If you are in Derby you can buy tickets over the counter at the Derby LIVE box office either at the Assembly Rooms box office located at the Market Place or at the Derby Theatre box office in the Westfield Centre.
Opening hours are 10:00 until 20:00 Monday to Saturday.

3. You can ring the Derby LIVE box office 01332 255800 and buy tickets over the phone. Both credit and debit cards are accepted for payment. Credit cards incur a �1 booking fee [debit cards don�t incur a fee] and postage will incur a charge of 50p. When collecting tickets from the box office the card used for payment must be seen.

4. On-line through the Derby LIVE box office system.
Go to the Derby LIVE Con-Quest website and click the �Buy Now� link.
Check it says �Con-Quest 2010 RPG Convention� and click �Buy Tickets�
Select the amount of tickets you would like to book and click the �Continue� button.
Select your concessions and click the �Continue� button
Check your ticket summary, if this is correct click the �Continue� button.
Enter your personal details and credit card details. Please note Derby LIVE charge a processing fee of �2 per transaction (not per ticket).
Click the �Purchase� button to complete the transaction � you may wish to print the Transaction Complete page for your reference though an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you.
All tickets purchased within the UK more than 7 days prior to Con-Quest will be posted to you.

As an amendment to my above post. I will run next week. But it may be a little rough round the edges.

If there's no other plot stuff to deal with there is pressure mounting to actually announce the team - which will almost certainly involve naming it.

As regards individual character progression, if there's anything your characters are specifically aiming towards on a Personal, Professional or Superheroic basis, then by all means jot it down on here.

Righty ho. My creativity has ground to a crashing halt as far as this game goes. Over the past two weeks I've discarded several scenarios that just went nowhere, or were frankly just awful. I've racked my brains for the last day or so on some fragments that I had hoped would turn into something useable, it just isn't happening.

This being the case I'm finding that I currently have nothing that's fit to run next week, and I just don't see that changing between now and then.

I don't honestly know whether it's the setting, the system or just life, but something's getting in the way of pulling a coherent scenario together. I'd always intended the big back story here to be the Civil War. I'd got vague ideas for the course of things as regards your characters and DC, but nothing set in stone. Unfortunately, the more I think about those vague ideas, the less satisfied I am with them. So I think I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board on this one and see if I can salvage it. Hopefully I just need to draw up a more solid outline and that will shake things loose.
